The JDistil framework and associated Eclipse plugin were created by Bryan W. Snipes who has been working in the software technology industry since 1993. They were created in an effort to simplify the creation of data centric web applications. The goal was to create a fully independent framework and associated tools focused on minimizing the amount of code needed to develop a fully functioning application while allowing for maximum extensibility and customization.
